Content of the WWW-Domains control panel

The content of the control panel "WWW-domains" depends on the service:

  1. Domain Control Panel:
    • DNS Administration: to manage global DNS and local DNS records
    • Personal Information: to change personal information on our files (available only accessing from the Master control panel)
    • Redirect: allows you to redirect the domain to another URL (web address)
    • Whois Management: to update data in the WHOIS database (not available for .eu, .co.uk and .it domains)
  2. Domain + Email Control Panel: has the same sections of the Domain control panel and also contains the section:
    • Mail management: to manage mailboxes and Mailing Lists
  3. WebSite Control Panel:
    • File Management: to manage folders and files of the web space.
    • Mail management: to manage mailboxes and Mailing Lists
    • Subdomains management: to manage subdomains
    • Setup ODBC: to manage DSN connections to Access databases
    • DNS Administration: to manage global DNS and local DNS records
    • ASP.NET Version: to change ASP.NET version installed in the webserver
    • Disk Space: details of used space
    • Bandwidth Usage: detailed daily/monthly bandwidth consumption
    • Account FrontPage: to install/uninstall FrontPage extensions
    • Website Alias: to manage aliases (hostheaders)
    • Personal Information: to change personal information on our files (available only accessing from the Master control panel)

How to log into the WWW-Domains management panel

It is possible to access into the control panel WWW-Domain using one of the following methods:

1. From Master Control Panel: access to page http://www.7host.com/login.asp using Master information, then click on "Manage WWW-Domains".

2. Direct access: from page http://www.7host.com/login.asp using login information of the web space/domain to be managed. Direct access is possible only if the name/password for the Master and those of the individual account are different.

It is possible to manage data access only from the Master Control Panel. Master information can be updated by clicking on "Master Information", while for the individual account (webspace/domain) you can only change your password by clicking on "Manage WWW-Domains," then click on the link refers to the domain to be updated and finally click on "Personal Information" button.

Migration of an account (space/domain) from one Master control panel to another

It is possible to migrate an account of a web space or domain to another Master control panel as follow:

  • access the Master control panel where is the account to migrate
  • click on "WWW-Domain"
  • click on the button "Migrate" of the account to move
  • enter the username of the Master of destination
  • access the destination Master control panel
  • accept the transfer request
